M & R Plumbing & Heating have just completed our replacement boiler for us and we are extremely pleased with how everything went. Mick came to give us a quote and explained everything to us and left us a copy of all the info so that we were in no doubt what we were asking for. After asking British gas and 2 other companies for new  a boiler,  we decided that the price and the job details were just what we was looking for. The boiler was fitted within 3 days from start to finish. The work was carried out by two professional engineers who constantly kept us in touch with where they were up to. The work was done cleanly and without too much inconvenience to us. What a difference the new boiler makes, its brilliant!!

We started using M & R about 3 years ago. Michael and his team did an excellent job removing an old boiler and installing a new condenser boiler.  Since then they have serviced it regularly and we have been delighted by their courtesy, efficiency, punctuality and neatness.
More recently, my parents had trouble with their boiler (installed under the Warmfront scheme, not by M & R). The standard of workmanship was appalling and it is fortunate that we asked M & R to look at it because it had to be disconnected immediately having potentially life-threatening faults. Following protracted negotiations with Warmfront, they offered to install a new boiler. However we were concerned that their contractors were insisting on an unsightly location for the boiler because they claimed scaffolding would be needed otherwise! We were also concerned about the standard of workmanship.
A quick call to M & R saw a new boiler installed in a matter of days, out of sight and with no scaffolding! My parents are delighted and have nothing but praise for M & R.
We would not hesitate in recommending M & R.

What a fabulous job! From start to finish, had great communication, from the original enquiry, to the date arranged for the work to the actual completion! We can't fault a thing! The price was very affordable, the service was amazing and the fitters were great! Would not hesitate to have work done by M&R again!

Mr R Webster – Aspull, Wigan

We asked M&R Plumbing & Heating Limited for a quotation for a Worcester Bosch boiler and to give us a general idea of how we could make our home more energy efficient.
We made arrangements for one of their engineers to call round and give us a quotation.  Mick, the engineer, who came, explained everything regarding the work that would be carried out and answered all our questions.  He advised us to have a Worcester 42 CDI Greenstar combination boiler fitted with a programmable room thermostat.
We were dubious about having a combination boiler fitted because we had heard rumours that the hot water was inefficient.
Mick explained that this could be the case if the correct combination boiler was not fitted in accordance with the property.
He explained that because our house was a fair-sized property, had multiple bathrooms and a utility room, plus our kitchen, it would require a large condensing combination boiler.  We took his advice and have been thrilled with the hot water performance.  We now have more than enough hot water and the heating is brilliant. The installation team who fitted our boiler were very professional.  All work areas were covered with dust sheets, vacuumed and left tidy. Upon completion the Team patiently explained how everything worked.
After M&R carried out this work at our home, I asked them to undertake quite a large project for my son.  The whole property was to undergo major refurbishment and M&R fitted a new boiler, underfloor heating on the ground floor and radiators on the first and second floors.  The underfloor heating was fitted to enable us to control it separately from the first and second floor.  They also plumbed in the kitchen and fitted the ensuite and bathroom which I believe they have put in their gallery.
It was a pleasant experience dealing with such a professional company and I would not hesitate in recommending M&R Plumbing & Heating Limited to anyone else.

Dear Mick

Just a line to let you know how pleased we are with our new Worcester Bosch combi boiler provided and installed by M&R. We researched thoroughly before making our decision on the company we wanted to do the work after you quoted for the job, and found all the information on your literature was correct i.e. Gas Safe registered and Worcester accredited which made us feel confident in our decision.
However with the house being over a hundred years old and the “two” old gas boilers needing to be removed we had some apprehension on how the work would be carried out. We need not have worried as the installers where superb.It was difficult to believe such turmoil had lasted only two days with an entire floors carpets and floorboards raised to connect new piping to the old system.But after it was complete it was difficult to tell that any work had been done as the installers put everything back to its original state and cleaned and even hovered before they left. We would not hesitate to recommend M&R to anyone who wished a similar job to be done as the price was fair, the installing lads where skilled and thoroughly
professional in everything they did. Once again many thanks for all the effort, all the very best to you and your staff for the future.

We would like to thank Mick and his team at M & R Plumbing & Heating Ltd on a very professional job. They  removed our old boiler from the bathroom and installed a Worcester Bosch Condensing Combi Boiler in our attic with the minimum of disruption. They arrived to do the work at the stated time and were courteous, pleasant and professional. Everything was explained as they went along and they kept everything neat and tidy. We would have no hesitation on recommending them to anyone.
